Become a Firefly

A Firefly connects with others because they shine from within. The light inside of them illuminates as they serve others and spread the message that everyone has value, everyone can give back, and education can cure poverty. They believe when we learn to take what is given to us freely, and in turn freely give, it will change not only our local communities, but also the world!

Through my work to fight poverty, I have created a Firefly Network, which consists of friends of mine at different schools and churches in Tennessee. These people are not just my friends, but are also exceptional human beings who shine from the inside out just like a Firefly. More information →

Illuminate the lives of others…

Fireflies help tutor kids after school that need help with their homework, through organizations like Big Brother Big Sisters of the Mid-South and the Refugee Empowerment Program.  They also help collect discarded school supplies, backpacks and uniforms to give to children in Haiti through the Haitian Project as well as children in Memphis we work with.   More information →

Dream Big…

Like education can cure poverty, fireflies offer light in the dark.  Our Firefly network shines a light of guidance to those who feel lost or hopeless because of the community they live in.  As we teach and give to those who need our help we also work with them to find their own strengths and passions. Sparkle More…

When someone is shown they have value and can give back by helping others they are filled with hope and sense of self worth.  Fireflies want children to understand even though they may need help in one area, they can still help others within their own family or community. More information →
